<p><strong>1. Use ‘you’ more than ‘we’.</strong> Speak directly to your customers by using the word ‘you’. If you use the word ‘we’ too much they will switch off and go elsewhere. Talk about your customers, not yourself.</p>
<p><strong>2.Stay focussed.</strong> Don’t overload your page with different topics. Create separate pages for different products, otherwise search engines won’t know what the page is about and people won’t find what they want.</p>
<p><strong>3.Stress benefits, not features</strong>. Very few people care how your product is put together. What they <em>do</em> want to know is whether it will make their life better. If it’s faster, applies better, will create more professional results &#8211; say so.</p>
<p><strong>4. Avoid professional jargon</strong>. Don’t talk about ‘heating solutions’ if your customers are searching for ‘boilers’ or ‘radiators’. They won’t be able to find you on Google.</p>
